DEPOT specializes in premium pet foods, grooming, and pet supplies for nearly every kind of small animal. If we
don't have it - we will try our best to get it for you. This is your pets' place for toys, chews and treats! Our
customers love the personal, caring service and knowledgeable staff, ready to help solve your basic animal care problems.
At Katie's PET DEPOT we work with local animal rescue organizations to
provide satellite pet adoption centers for kittens and puppies. We are very proud to have assisted in finding hundreds
of happy homes for the animals entrusted in our care. In addition to pet adoptions we have monthly low-cost, dog
and cat vaccination clinics and anesthesia free teeth cleaning. We also offer weekly, on-going dog-training
classes.
Katie's PET DEPOT first opened it's doors in 1990 by the Versch and Hubbard families. It
was originally located on Wilshire Blvd. in Santa Monica, California. In 2004 the store was relocated to La Verne.
Katie's in La Verne is the corporate training store of the PET DEPOT franchise chain. Several times a year we have visitors
from across the United States and Canada training at Katie's for their own stores. If you love pets and people, you
will love this store!
